Essex County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Parks and Recreation.
Salary: $40,000 to $55,000 DOQ/DOE (+) benefits.
This position is responsible for planning and directing all recreation and parks activities for the County. The position directs all programs and events; develops short and long-term plans, goals and objectives; supervises program implementation; studies the community and establishes and implements strategic plans for departmental response to existing and forecasted needs.
