PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Public Hearing that was to be held on Tuesday, July 8^th  at 10:00 a.m., concerning the Tappahannock-Essex County Airport Authority request to rezone 24 acres of the Airport Property from A-2 Agriculture to M-2 Light Industrial has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July, 15^th at 7:00 p.m., at 109 Cross Street in the Essex County School Board Office and County Office Building.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Regular Essex County Board of Supervisor's meeting for Tuesday, July 8th at 9:30 a.m., has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July, 15, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., at 109 Cross Street in the Essex County School Board Office and County Office Building.

The Board of Supervisor's Work Session that was to be held following the July 8th regular meeting has been cancelled.

Public Hearing - Essex County Planning Commission

On June 17, 2014 the Essex County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. in the Essex School Board Office and County Complex. The purpose of this meeting is to hear a Rezoning Request by the Tappahannock Essex County Airport Authority, to rezone 24 acres of the Airport Property from A-2 Agriculture to M-2 Light Industrial.  Also at this meeting the Planning Commission will review the updated Comprehensive Plan.  The public is invited to this meeting.  Should you wish to view the Rezoning Request, please contact Jeffrey Hodges, Zoning Administrator at 804-443-4951
