Application Deadlines:
previous applicants - March 1st
new applicants - September 1st

• Are you 65 years of age or older or totally disabled before Jan 1st?
•Do you have annual income (total household) of $27,500 or less?
•Is your net worth less than $100,000 (excluding home & one acre)?
•Is the property located in Essex County your primary residence?

If you answered “yes” to all of the questions above, you may qualify for tax relief up to $750 on your primary residence real estate taxes. Forms are available in the office or at www.essex-va.org/taxrel.htm.
